Sophia proudly grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona where she attended Desert Mountain High School and attended the University of Arizona (Bear Down!).

After graduation, Sophia headed to Los Angeles where she worked on countless luxury marketing campaigns with widely recognized brands, such as MAC Cosmetics and Nordstrom. It was during her time in digital marketing that she learned how to deliver successful results under pressure and to exceed high expectations within the luxury sector.

Sophia is the daughter of an accomplished commercial real estate broker and has many other family members in the real estate industry, so it felt like a natural transition when she decided to pivot to real estate in 2016. In the early stage of her real estate career, Sophia helped over 25 parties buy and sell their properties as a transaction manager for a boutique firm in Del Mar, CA. By successfully managing over $20M+ in sales in the earliest stages of her career, Sophia carries a deep understanding of the many small nuances that create rewarding outcomes for her clients.

After living in Southern California for 9 years, Sophia relocated back home to Arizona in 2021. She partnered with her mother and accomplished Realtor, Julie Miachika, and together they formed The SJ Collective. The SJ Collective is a dynamic, female-founded residential real estate team. It is through their core values of integrity, communication, and hard work that The SJ Collective has created many winning scenarios for investors, buyers and sellers in both traditional resale and new development. When she isn’t assisting her clients, you can probably find Sophia cooking or enjoying a nice glass of wine at home, experiencing any of our amazing restaurants in the Valley, taking a Peloton/yoga class, or spending quality time with friends and family. Sophia lives in a 1950’s bungalow in the vibrant neighborhood of Arcadia Lite with her husband, Alex, and their cockapoo, Bogey. They consider themselves very fortunate to live in an area that is constantly evolving- much like Arizona itself!
